FIRST TIME BUYER EVENT SUCCESS AT THE LOCK
On Saturday, Telford Homes hosted a successful First Time Buyers event at The Lock, featuring a live cookery demonstration from a professional chef.
Prospective buyers enjoyed the views looking up to the picturesque Horsenden Hill from The Lock’s private resident’s roof terrace, whilst learning how to make a delicious Spaghetti Alla Norma – perfect for cosy nights in your new home.
Our independent financial advisors, Capricorn Financial, were also on hand to advise prospective buyers on everything they may need to know about getting a foot on the property ladder and the Help To Buy scheme.
With the help of the London Help To Buy scheme, first time buyers will only need a 5% deposit and can loan 40% of the purchase price from the government. A mortgage will make up the rest. The equity loan is interest-free for the first five years, leaving time to pay off the price of a dream home over time. If you’re interested, you must reserve an apartment by 31st October 2022 to use the London Help to Buy Equity Loan. The scheme ends in March 2023.
