Telford Homes announces the launch of their exclusive penthouse collection
Telford Homes has launched their exclusive Penthouse Collection at an event held at its Horizons development, Canary Wharf, displaying their breathtaking range of luxury penthouses now available.
The penthouse collection features Horizons, Manhattan Plaza and Stratford Central, all of which offer high-specification, beautifully finished penthouses designed with the highest standard of quality in mind. Each penthouse is designed with the purpose of making the most of their elevated setting, with views stretching across East and Central London.
At the launch event, David Harper, renowned contemporary artist, antiques expert and TV presenter, exhibited a selection of his diverse portfolio of artwork, which were particularly striking against the cool white walls of one of the penthouses. A soothing musical background was provided by harpist Siobhan Swider and drinks and canapes were served throughout the evening by society caterers Blue Strawberry. Potential buyers were invited to explore both the newly formed penthouse ‘art gallery’, and the fully furnished show home penthouse, along with the opportunity to find out more about the wider Telford Homes Penthouse Collection.
The Horizon penthouses are available from £1,425,000 rising to £1,475,000 for the fully dressed and furnished show apartment. Both apartments feature a spacious outdoor, rooftop terrace and entertainment area complete with outdoor kitchen, making the most of the breathtaking surrounding views. Crowning the 26-storey development, the Horizons penthouses offer dual level living, along with expansive private roof top terraces which feature sweeping panoramic views across Canary Wharf, the City, the O2 Arena and beyond towards the Thames and Greenwich. The internal specification is suitably luxurious, with kitchens featuring high-gloss white cabinets with fully integrated Siemens appliances, while bathrooms are fitted with bespoke cabinetry, mood lighting and stylish Villeroy & Boch sanitary ware.
The show apartment Interior is beautifully styled by leading interior designer Sophie Paterson, with a contemporary but luxurious feel taking inspiration from the modern, affluent and active lifestyle of neighboring Canary Wharf. Residents can also enjoy the benefit of a 24hr concierge, landscaped courtyards, a private resident’s gymnasium and bicycle storage.
The Penthouse Collection also includes Stratford Central in East London where just one of four dual level penthouses remains available to purchase. Much like Canary Wharf, Stratford offers a self-contained hub of shops, restaurants and local attractions, while being serviced by probably the best direct transport links in London. The area has undergone significant regeneration since the building of the Queen Elizabeth Park for the 2012 London Olympic Games, with its popularity growing exponentially over subsequent years. It has become one of the key areas targeted by investors and homeowners, largely due to the plentiful variety of retail and recreational activities on offer in such proximity, as well as the connectivity of both Stratford and Stratford International station providing both over ground and underground services across London.
The Stratford Central Penthouses will offer expansive private terraces averaging over 600 sq ft., affording residents unbeatable views across The Queen Elizabeth Park, towards The Shard and the O2 Arena. Contemporary kitchens by Urban Myth will include fully integrated wine coolers as well as Siemens induction touch control hobs and ovens. Bathrooms will feature bespoke cabinetry, mood lighting and Villeroy & Boch sanitary ware and porcelain tiling, with comfort cooling and underfloor heating throughout the apartments encapsulating the essence of luxurious, contemporary London Living. In addition to 24hr concierge, state of the art security, and a gymnasium, residents at Stratford Central will also have the benefit of both private parking and bicycle storage The final penthouses celebrated as part of this unique collection are eight brand new apartments, soon to be available at Manhattan Plaza, directly opposite the ever-evolving landscape of Canary Wharf. The development will offer four penthouses and four sub-penthouses across the 20th and 21st floors, now available for viewing by private appointment, with completion due in early 2018. Residents at Manhattan Plaza have the additional benefit of a stylish landscaped courtyard and feature garden which soften their urban surroundings. The two-bedroom penthouses offer views across all corners of London, towards The Thames, Canary Wharf, North London or the City, each with spacious balconies from which to enjoy the sights. Designed by Barton Willmore architects, Manhattan Plaza offers a cool take on brick style architecture inspired by the trendy meatpacking district of New York, combined with its urban London surroundings where the old London market tradition of Billingsgate meets the steel and glass modernity of Canary Wharf.
The excellent connections from Canary Wharf on the Jubilee line and DLR to the City will be further enhanced with the launch of Crossrail in late 2018, with the addition of one of the largest Crossrail stations and a proposed retail park. The new Crossrail station will offer accelerated travel times across London from Canary Wharf, reaching London Liverpool Street in six minutes, Stratford in eight minutes, Bond Street in 13 minutes and Heathrow in 39 minutes.
David Campbell, Group Sales & Marketing Director for Telford Homes comments: “The Penthouse Collection event showcases the pinnacle of the Telford Homes portfolio and what it has to offer our most discerning buyers. We believe that each of our penthouses will provide residents the very best of luxurious contemporary London living, with spectacular views across the capital including both Canary Wharf and Stratford – two of the most exciting and culturally rich areas in London right now.
We were delighted to combine the event with an exhibition of dramatic contemporary art by David Harper, whose work brilliantly brought to life the exciting urban essence that we try to capture in each of our carefully designed penthouses.”
