“Having considered several areas to purchase a property in from east to west, Hackney Wick offered the lifestyle and future growth opportunity I was looking for. The location offers great transport links, Victoria Park and the canal towpaths on your doorstep, as well as a 25 min commute into Oxford Circus for work. The area is a hive of activity with hidden gems dotted all over the place and future development set maximise the offering for everyone. I viewed several developments in the area but Stone Studios really stood out to me as the best opportunity. It’s close to the station (that is also due to undergo future redevelopment), but offers privacy for residents with private balconies and the internal courtyard. The floor to ceiling windows and open-plan living space was exactly what I was looking for and the internal specification offered something a little different to other schemes I’d viewed. With a lot of developments for first-time buyers to choose from across London, it’s also important to consider all the little details when purchasing. The 999 year lease, peppercorn ground rent and affordable service charge are all factors that made this not only my favourite scheme but one of the most affordable.”
