TELFORD HOMES SITE MANAGER IS NHBC SOUTH EASTERN REGIONAL WINNER FOR EAST LONDON DEVELOPMENT.

Telford Homes is deighted to announce that the NHBC (National House-Building Council) has honoured Greg Scott as the South East’s best new homes site manager for their Top 100 ‘Seal of Excellence’ winners this year.

Greg, site manager of the OneStratford development in London, E15, was first presented with a Quality Award as part of the NHBC’s ‘Pride in the Job’ campaign in July. In September, Greg won a ‘Seal of Excellence’ award for building the best quality new homes and managing his site, OneStratford, to an exceptional standard, placing him amongst the top 100 site managers in the UK. Greg was then selected as outright, Southeast Regional Award winner in the ‘Large Multi-Storey’ category, which was contested by all 100 Seal of Excellence winners. In January, the awards will culminate with the announcement of the four overall Supreme Award winners in which Greg will compete against other regional winners from the UK.

NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards is the only national competition to focus on the site manager’s role in producing high quality new homes. With approximately 18,000 site managers across the UK entered into the competition, only those who have demonstrated outstanding levels of skill across 38 areas of site management, (including technical expertise, quality control and health and safety) are awarded. Judging takes place over a 12 month period, to gauge an accurate view of how they manage their site over time and the overall quality and finish of the new homes.

OneStratford is a landmark development with 179 private sale one and two bedroom apartments. It also provides 122 homes for shared ownership and affordable rent via Toynbee Housing Association. Positioned on Stratford High Street, the development is ideally located for the 2012 Olympic Park, Stratford and the City, featuring a 24-hour concierge, a car club scheme and commercial space to encourage new businesses. The development is due for completion from December 2008 to June 2009 and all apartments are sold.
