TELFORD HOMES LAUNCHES THE JUNCTION, E1 ON 29TH JANUARY 2015

Telford Homes are delighted to announce the forthcoming launch of their latest inner London development. The Junction, an exclusive collection of 26 one, two and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses located on the City Fringe, E1, is launching on Thursday 29th January through their appointed selling agent Hurford Salvi Carr. The new nine storey development is conveniently located just a four minute walk from the Shadwell DLR and overground station. Residents can cycle to The City in just seven minutes, take the tube to Canary Wharf in the same time frame, and the historic St. Katharine Docks with a selection of restaurants, bars and cafés is only a short walk away. Stratford is just 15 minutes away on the DLR.

Award-winning David Wood Architects have designed The Junction to complement the surrounding architecture, whilst offering the best of contemporary urban design in a historic London location. Each of the apartments has been tailored to an excellent standard of specification, including kitchens from London designer Urban Myth, with stone work surfaces and fully integrated Smeg appliances, bespoke cabinetry in the bathrooms and premium woodstrip laminate flooring throughout the living area with bedrooms carpeted in warm tones.

All of the homes have under-floor heating, a video entry phone system and private outdoor space. Moreover, the development will feature a striking private residents’ roof-top garden on the fourth floor of the building, with views across the City, Canary Wharf, St. Katherine Docks and overlooking the Shadwell Basin, the most significant body of water surviving from the historic London Docks.

Located on the City Fringe, The Junction is within a short distance from the world’s leading multi-national companies and some of the capital’s most fashionable neighbourhoods. A short walk away, St. Katharine Docks is central London’s only marina and is home to an enviable selection of restaurants and cafés, whilst neighbouring Wapping is known for its historic riverside pubs such as The Prospect of Whitby which dates back to 1520. Nearby Shoreditch is one of London’s most desirable and exciting areas where art, design, fashion and culture are flourishing. Trendy Spitalfields Market has been wonderfully regenerated and is a weekend tradition, the chic clubs, restaurants, galleries and shops in the area provide endless local entertainment.

David Campbell, Group Sales and Marketing Director for Telford Homes, comments: “We are delighted to announce the launch of The Junction in this highly desirable City Fringe location. We are expecting a high degree of interest from young professionals, given the development’s proximity to the City of London and Canary Wharf. Moreover, the established popularity of the surrounding area is sure to generate interest from investors keen to seek strong capital-value growth potential.”

Nearby St. Katharine Docks offers pleasant walks and entertainment, while The Junction is a few moments away from the green expanses of St. George’s Gardens, Wapping Woods, and King Edward VII Memorial Park. For those of an athletic disposition, the Shadwell Basin Activity Centre offers a range of watersports for people of all abilities. The area is also well served by schools; Blue Gate Fields Infant and Juniour Schools are found a couple of minutes’ walk away, and Bishop Challoner Catholic Collegiate School and Thant College are also within walking distance.

First completions are expected in Summer 2016 with prices starting from £420,000.
