We are delighted to have launched a stylish new 1-bedroom show apartment at The Lock, giving the public an insight into contemporary London living at the exciting new waterfront neighbourhood at Greenford Quay, West London.

Attention is drawn to the deep raspberry colour blocked against the white in the lounge area, which adds depth to the walls and creates the perfect backdrop for neutral furniture.

The apartment boasts high ceilings, bringing in an abundance of natural light and space, which is accentuated by floor to ceiling curtains. Stunning views of Greenford can be seen from the balcony.

Creating a relaxing and calming space was at the heart of the design for the bedroom. The soft blush fabric on the channelled headboard and light blue hues on the cushions complement the serene atmosphere of the room. Hints of gold add a touch of luxury, which is enhanced by the abundance of natural light that also accentuate the beauty of the dressing table.

We were asked to create an inspiring and fun interior, which would not only show off how an open plan living space could be used, but how we could also capture the essence of the development in the use of colour and form. From using blocks of rich colours in the living area, we softened the design of the bedroom using pale pinks and blues, as we wanted to represent a peaceful sanctuary. The design provokes thought in how the use of colour blocking and contrasting colour palettes can be used to tailor an open plan living space to an individuals needs and personality.”
