Civic Awards Regional Finalist 2021
Telford Homes and Pollard Thomas Edwards Architects are delighted to be shortlisted as a Regional Finalist for the 2021 Civic Trust Awards, for our New Garden Quarter development. New Garden Quarter, is a joint venture development between Telford Homes and Notting Hill Genesis.
The Civic Trust Awards scheme was established in 1959 and aims to encourage the very best in architecture and environmental design, to improve the built environment for us all through design, sustainability, inclusiveness and accessibility, but also to reward projects that offer a positive cultural, social, economic or environmental benefit.
New Garden Quarter was shortlisted on account of the sustainable and environmental benefits the development brings to the local community, including the garden square which comprises of two acres dedicated to landscaped parkland alongside a feature pond and play area. This is the focal point of the development and provides the residents with an attractive space for relaxation and community events.
