City North a landmark development for Finsbury Park

Telford Homes Plc, in partnership with the Business Design Centre Group, have launched City North, a landmark development and new destination for Finsbury Park, which will provide 355 new homes and a much-needed revamp of Finsbury Park station.

Comprising a collection of spacious suites, one, two, three and four-bedroom apartments, duplexes and penthouses, City North is situated directly adjacent to Finsbury Park station and opposite the 110-acre park itself, offering residents the perfect combination of accessibility and a green setting.

The landmark development comprises four striking buildings including two impressive towers, which are both 23 stories. As well as providing much needed new homes, City North will also create a leisure destination for the area, with a host of new commercial occupiers complementing the established leisure and retail offerings in Finsbury Park.

All residents will have access to an array of on-site amenities including a 24-hour concierge service and a beautiful roof garden that is over 2,000sqm in size, which even has a Wi-Fi lounge. Additional amenities available to both residents and also members of the public will include a new fitness centre, cinema, supermarket located around a central piazza, which will also feature a bespoke piece of public art commissioned by the Joint Venture Partners. In total, the development will include 16,082 sq m of new commercial space.

Finsbury Park is in close proximity to the fashionable areas of Crouch End, Highgate and Hampstead, and is extremely well connected, with services on the Victoria line to King’s Cross in just four minutes, Oxford Circus and Bank taking 9 and 16 minutes respectively. Services on the Piccadilly Line to Covent Garden and Piccadilly Circus also only take 13 and 15 minutes respectively. Regular National Rail services run north from Finsbury Park and Cambridge can be reached in 56 minutes, while services to Peterborough take approximately an hour, providing extensive links to the wider UK rail network.

David Campbell, Group Sales and Marketing Director at Telford Homes, comments: “City North will provide homes and a new destination for Finsbury Park. The station redevelopment will benefit Finsbury Park residents and all users of the station from further afield, who be able to enjoy the new shopping and leisure facilities. We are working closely with our partners, the Business Design Centre Group, to ensure that the new commercial occupiers complement the existing businesses in the area.

“We are expecting substantial interest in City North across a wide range of buyers, including families and current Finsbury Park residents, along with young professionals who commute into central London, due to its fantastic location and excellent connectivity.”

All apartments at City North will be fitted to a top quality specification. Kitchens will feature fully integrated Bosch appliances and handle-less fitted European cabinets from London designer Urban Myth, while bathrooms will be equipped with Villeroy and Boch sanitary ware.

Many of the apartments will include private outdoor space and all residents will have access to The Pavilion and public piazza.

There is no shortage of leisure activities and places to explore in Finsbury Park, home to Arsenal F.C’s Emirates Stadium, the popular Park Theatre, Rowans Ten Bin Bowling and a host of bars and restaurants bound to suit all tastes. A new cinema at City North is set to further increase Finsbury Park’s leisure offering and residents can explore the 4.5 mile Parkland Walk, which takes you all the way to Highgate via a disused tree-lined railway line while the expansive Clissold Park is also easily reachable.
